I need to cancel my hunt for tomorow afternoon at the lake. I had a bit of a health issue - all fine now, but need to rest a few days.

The male English Pointer is named Elvis ( liver & white) and the female is named Dolly (orange & white. These dogs were 3 years old in June and are brother and sister.
Jim Heckert the gentleman that Will Pannill has working his place at Buggs Island, VA took them out west and worked them year before last.
TED WHITFIELD a well known dog trainer in Hurdle Mills, NC 27541 worked them for me last year for 1 month.
I have been unable to hunt due to back surgeries and left knee replacement and I am going to have a right knee replaced soon.
I feel it unfair to my dogs as they should be out hunting everyday instead of in a kennel .
I can provide further information should someone be interested.

I have two hunting and fishing properties for sale. The first is 208 acres I own with David Jones on a tailwater trout stream, the Smith River, in the old trophy section. There are 78 acres on one side of the Smith River and opposite it on the other side, 130 acres with a total of 3000 feet of river frontage. It is all wooded with plenty of deer and turkey. Parcels can be sold separately.
The second, I own with Rudy Hauser is 246 acres with 2.5 to 3 miles of river frontage on the North Mayo, a smallmouth stream. It is mostly wooded with predominantly greater than 75 year old hardwoods and some smaller harvestable loblolly pines. There are 30 plus acres of planted fields. We have had a long term feeding program for deer and turkey and have taken two greater than 140 Boone and Crockett deer. There is a 1428 square foot lodge right on the river and about 6 miles of roads and four-wheeling trails.
Realtor information is listed below. Joel and Carla have brochures.
